A Holistic Podiatry Pioneer

Having received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1980 from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Kornfeld set out with a true passion for his expertise, and a desire to make his mark on this particular branch of medicine. As a pioneer in the treatment of chronic foot and ankle pain, he is board certified in Integrative Medicine by the American Association of Integrative Medicine (AAIM), the American Board of Alternative Medicine and the American Alternative Medical Association. He is a Diplomate of the College of Physicians – AAIM. 

A Wealth of Podiatry Knowledge

Dr. Kornfeld not only brings his wealth of podiatry knowledge to his patients, but he also has hosted his own interactive radio show, “The Holistic Foot and Health Care Show” which has aired here in New York. With a life focused so heavily on being a holistic podiatrist and on spreading the word of the benefits of holistic podiatry, Doctor Kornfeld's unique approach may be just what you need to alleviate your chronic pain.

    Dr Kornfeld gave me all the time we needed to deal with an injured foot and explained how my general health is important to the healing process. As a result of that, I did some tests which show that I am experiencing adrenal fatigue. I am now taking some supplements to improve and I feel very lucky to have a doctor who sees the whole person and really pays attention. He is also very accessible via email and even text. I highly recommend him.
